  • 🏆 Tahlia Parker completed over 50 DSC e-Learning modules, demonstrating her exceptional commitment to continuous learning.

  • 🏆 Brooke Banfield completed 30+ DSC e-Learning modules, showcasing her dedication to professional growth.

  • ShiftCare and Xero Integration: The seamless integration of these platforms improved tracking, financial management, and transparency.

Community and Industry Engagement

Building connections with our community and the disability support sector has been a highlight of 2024:

  • Disability Summit Sponsorship: Live It Up proudly sponsored and participated in the Disability Summit, demonstrating our dedication to innovation and collaboration in the sector.

  • Local Sponsorships: We were thrilled to sponsor local initiatives, including community footy teams, fostering inclusion and strengthening local bonds.


These efforts reinforce our belief in the power of meaningful engagement to drive positive change.

Financial and Expense Management

This year, we overhauled our time-consuming manual reimbursement process, replacing it with the Xero Me app. Previously, receipts were emailed, saved, and manually entered into spreadsheets by Renee and reviewed by Rikki—a process costing approximately $25,000 annually in staff time. The new app allows staff to capture, submit, and track receipts instantly, streamlining workflows, improving accuracy, and enhancing transparency. This change not only saves time but aligns with our values of Integrity and Empowerment, supporting both our team and organisational growth.

Enhanced our Online Presence

We’ve expanded our digital footprint in 2024, making it easier to connect with our community and share our journey:

  • Social Media Growth: We increased our presence on platforms like Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and LinkTree, sharing updates, client stories, and team milestones.
